Online Learning
For those that cannot attend an in person class, I have an online class option.
This is a good class for the beginner or intermediate engraver and is a great resource to use following an in person class. Enrollment is available for 2 weeks at the beginning of each quarter throughout the year.
Please use the link below for a full class description and registration information.

I had the absolute pleasure of taking a class with Kelly McRae and it was such an incredible experience. I learned so much packed into easy to digest and thoughtfully crafted experiences to really solidify and gain practical knowledge of drawing scrolls, taking care of and sharpening gravers, to creating practice plates and even a finished set of earrings. Kelly is so kind and thoughtful and made me feel completely comfortable and welcome in her lovely studio. I didn’t just take a class, I made lifelong friends and connections that have become really meaningful. I look forward to going back to hone in my skills for the next level of training when it’s possible for me to head back north.

I recently completed my 5th class with Kelly. It’s turned into a bit of an annual treat for me to head to Pincher Creek and continue my silversmithing journey with her. Every year, Kelly has coached me into more advanced techniques and pushed me outside of my artistic boundaries, and I have left each weekend feeling so much more accomplished and full of new knowledge. Kelly has a way of tailoring her information delivery to reach everyone on an individual level, and I cannot recommend Kelly’s classes enough. Whether you’re a beginner, or more advanced - she will find a way to let you experience something new and amazing.

I loved the class #1 with Kelly so much and was hooked I came back a year later and took class #2. Kelly is an amazing, supportive teacher whose passion for the art shines through in her teaching. I highly recommend taking a class if you've been thinking on it!

They say, “Never meet your hero’s!!” And I couldn’t disagree more with that statement! It was 4 years ago, when I first enrolled in Kelly McRae’s “Western Bright Cut” classes and it has been an absolute priceless opportunity for myself and many others!! A true North American Artist in the Western Industry, and it has been an honour to be able to learn from in person! Kelly is an exceptional teacher, genuine, kind hearted and most importantly….willing to share her experience, knowledge, tips, hints and artistry!! Kelly’s the most inspirational person I know and I will forever be GRATEFUL!!
